We traveled to Gaelic Park with one mission—to bring the Sheamus Howlin Cup back to San Francisco. After three tough matches in the Chicago heat, including a dramatic comeback against Father Tom’s and a final win over Galway Boston, we did just that.

ABOUT our club
Founded in 2017, The Tipperary Hurling Club of San Francisco welcomes players from all over Ireland, America, and beyond.
In only a short time, the club has shifted the balance of power for hurling in America to the West Coast where the rivalries are fierce.
The team’s success comes from a legacy of home-grown Bay Area players combined with Irish hurlers who join the club for the North American hurling season.
